Trailer - Final
This is the final edition of my trailer. I used the feedback that I was provided with to make some edits to the film, but I also added the final touches such as the age rating and production logo, but also missing scenes such as title cards and my facebook chat scene.

Trailer - First draft
Below is the first/rough cut of my trailer, with the soundtrack just to give it some sound/sense.
After looking at the video as a whole, I've decided to make a few tweaks before the next version, including re-filming some scenes, and working more on the mise-en-scene to stick with the theme of action/thriller.

Planning - Age ratings
Age ratings are something that shows at the start of almost every trailer imaginable (because most trailers are produced from America, the ratings use their system). The picture below details the classic green-screen that you get at the start, usually accompanied with the rating of either G or PG (General audience, or Parental Guidance). Trailers are rarely produced where they would be rated higher, because it is hard to restrict the audience that may see the trailer, ergo, production companies try to produce trailers that are suitable for all.
After looking at my storyboard, I have decided to rate my trailer a 'PG', as there is no real use of violence, guns or drugs, nor is their anything to insinuate that you go out and stab someone. The film however is designed to be scary, and there are perhaps a couple of 'sensitive' scary moments in the trailer, so parental guidance will be advised.

The production logo at the top of this post is a sample production logo that I created myself, and is currently the one I am going to use. More research will be put into the production logo upon the creation of my trailers first draft.

Planning - Magazine cover, final
This is my final magazine cover. It's very similar to my mock because my mock received extremely positive feedback. I decided to fill the dead space with a free offer, but also something humorous. This technique was used as it grabs the readers attention, possibly making them buy the magazine or opening it up for more information.

Planning - DVD cover, final
This is my final DVD cover. As you can see, there were no major advances made from my draft due to my resources for it being limited. However, I responded to the main query of their being so much blank space, so I re-organised the layout slightly to fill some of this space. I also placed a couple more logos from conventional DVD covers on there in an attempt to make it look more realistic. Personally, I think it looks like something you'd find at a car boot sale, yet feedback from colleagues shows that it would be something that they would look into buying, because the message is still conveyed, regardless how cheap it looks.
